I took the Honduh out there and had to learn to launch the car all over again the track was so sticky. I only got one qualifying run from 11:30-4pm which sucked cause it was my first time down the 1/4 in this car. I only got one clean run in the street trophy which was a 14.19 @98mph.

It was my first time back out at Penwell since the upgrades. Its nice.

I'm still scratching my head on my turbo 4 banger bird breaking into the 11's on friday night. Was expecting mid 12's. New best 60' too (1.55).
My joy was short lived as I broke the drivers side axle on the first hit Saturday. You only get so far with stock chit in the rear, LOL!

the best part was the suction cup sound from the tires getting lifted off the track by the tow truck

Cool!!
Seems there is more damage than just the axle :( (think housing) so that is probably all she wrote for this year. In the immortal words of Ahhnoold, "I'll be back"

i picked up about 20 roller bearings from axle cap. it sounded ugly, and good thing u didnt do much of burnout either. was shocked after that short of burnout it did that. but track was hooking for sure.

Hmmm...Don't think that was mine as I still have all the rollers still in the housing. Must have been one of the other axle snappers
